You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
No tienes que tenerlo todo resuelto para comenzar.

Maybe you’ve gotten really good at being the strong one. The one who keeps going, takes care of everyone else, and says “I’m fine” even when you’re exhausted, anxious, or overwhelmed. Here, you don’t have to have the right words, all the answers, or pretend that everything is okay. We can start exactly where you are.

Hi, I’m Isabel. I’m glad you’re here.

Life can feel heavy. Maybe you’re navigating a difficult relationship, motherhood, pregnancy or postpartum changes, family expectations, past experiences, or a major transition. Or perhaps you’ve spent so much time caring for others that you’ve lost touch with yourself.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. I want our sessions to feel like a genuine conversation—a space where you can be honest, laugh, cry, process what’s hard, and show up without judgment.

Together, we can slow things down, understand patterns, build coping skills and boundaries, and create more space for your needs, healing, and growth.

Therapy can honor your culture, family, values, and experiences while making room for you.

También podemos hablar en español. Aquí no tienes que traducir tus emociones ni find the “right” words. You can bring your whole story and feel escuchada, comprendida y acompañada, sin juicio.

Este espacio también es para ti.

My background:

I’m Isabel Robles, a bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in English and Spanish. I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.

My path to becoming a therapist has taken me through many different corners of social work. For approximately six years, I worked in child welfare, supporting children and families navigating complex circumstances, including trauma, family separation, parenting challenges, and involvement with systems that can often feel overwhelming. Earlier in my career, I provided mental health services to children and worked as a case manager supporting families living in transitional housing.

These experiences have given me the opportunity to work alongside people during some of the most difficult and uncertain chapters of their lives. They also taught me something I carry into every therapy session: there is always more to a person than what is written in a chart, a diagnosis, or the hardest thing that has happened to them.

My perspective is also shaped by my own experience immigrating to the United States and learning to navigate life between cultures. I understand some of the complexities that can come with adapting to a new country while holding onto the language, values, traditions, and relationships that connect us to where we come from.

I also recognize how immigration experiences, uncertainty, and changing social and political climates can affect a person’s sense of safety, belonging, and emotional well being.

I’m also a mother, and while every person’s experience is uniquely their own, motherhood has given me an even deeper appreciation for the emotional and identity changes that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, and caring for others while trying not to lose yourself along the way.

All of these experiences shape the therapist I am today. I bring a perspective that considers not only symptoms, but the whole person: your relationships, family, culture, environment, experiences, strengths, and the systems you may be navigating.

My therapeutic style is warm, conversational, and collaborative. I incorporate evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while recognizing that therapy is not one size fits all. I want to understand not only what you are experiencing, but also the story behind it.

Most importantly, I want therapy to be a place where you can be human. You don’t have to show up as the strongest or most put together version of yourself. You can simply show up as you are, and we’ll start there together.
