Through a combination of practical skill building and depth work, I help individuals and couples who are navigating perinatal or parenting transitions, grief, or conflict.

Whether expected or not, adjusting to changes in our lives can disrupt our relationships in major ways. As a new parent, the biological changes in addition to the emotional and relational ones can exceed expectations, and many try to tough it out alone. I understand how disorienting it can be; the stress further increased by the lack of sleep and overstimulation of having a young one (or several). It's a lot.
I gratefully work with couples and individuals, from teens to elders, while specializing in supporting perinatal families and those whose primary relationships have been rocked by parenthood. With a firm foundation in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and body-based practices, I bring evidence based interventions to the issues you're experiencing. Clients have described me as nurturing, confronting, approachable, and playful. My approach is systemic, relational, non-pathologizing, and client centered. In session, you can expect to experience more presence and a slowing down from everyday life.

My background:
I chose Antioch University for its integrated focus on social justice and inclusivity in therapeutic care. During my graduate school journey, I was also navigating significant personal challenges – including early parenthood, relationship strain, grief, and loss of support systems. These experiences revealed a profound truth: belonging is an essential need, and I literally couldn't continue doing it alone. As I learned to build my own community, brick by brick, I realized that so many parents of young children are also navigating similar struggles, often in isolation. This recognition shaped my clinical focus on supporting families through life's most challenging transitions, providing the guidance, normalization, and safe space that so many need but struggle to find. Or feel deserving to ask for.
My therapeutic style is enhanced by my past work as a postpartum doula, yoga and meditation instructor, high school educator, and professional musical theatre performer. I've learned in all these roles there is great power in telling your story, having community to witness it, presence, and play is essential for connection. I have reverence for this role, and trust everyone's unique experience. And that play is essential for connection.
